The Super Twin Bike is the most spectacular category of drag racing in the biking world. In just 6.593 seconds a rider on a two-cylinder, 800 hp bike with an engine similar to that of a classic Harley Davidson can reach speeds of 344 kph. This class enjoys a huge worldwide following. It takes man and machine to the limit, but with the rider always in complete control of his machine. The racing world offers no more direct duel of man against man.
Great emphasis is placed on the safety of both riders and spectators. Before each race all safety features, both on vehicles and on the drag strip, undergo a technical inspection. A driver can have total confidence in both his vehicle and the safety of the track.

Lorenz Stäuble began his drag racing career in 2005 in the Super Twin Bike class. By the end of his first season as a rookie he was ranked sixth in the UEM European Championship league. By 2006 his opponents had learnt that he was a force to be reckoned with. Fast and fearless, this quiet, technically adept Swiss just burns up the quarter-mile distance.
Now in the third year of his fledgling career in drag racing, “Lo” is considered by some old hands to be one of the close favorites to win and defend the Championship title. .
